I spoke with Jeff today. He resigned from his State Parks OHV Coordinator position on Monday. Seems the Director had a different vision than Jeff on how to run the OHV program. Apparently there were some outside of Parks influencers who may have contributed to him making this decision. Time will tell what the health of the program will be, but I strongly urge all of us to keep our selves engaged in the program moving forward.

New OHV Coordinator starts work at State Parks this week. I plan to meet him at the next OHVAG meeting on Oct. 2nd in Phoenix.

PS - also learned Az. State Parks is planning to move its office from downtown Phoenix to somewhere near to I-17 and Pinnacle Peaks Road near the Game and Fish Office. This was mentioned in an ASCOT meeting by Az. State Parks folks in a meeting I attended on Saturday.
