I dont really mean to be an A-hole and complain, but........

Are there any "members" of OHV85 on here?

I have some questions

How many members are there?

Why was no one avaliable to get the c racers on their right rows BUT yet the second overall C racer was an ohv85 member?
Myself and Jason Ohrt got everyone lined up.

Were there any ohv85 members that worked the race?
I asked a "sweep" rider a simple question but he was clueless..... I got the impression he just showed up, put an orange vest on and was riding around?

Do you feel that a $10 gate fee per person is fair when the portapooper was full to the rim at 8am at a NATIONAL?

I paid $50 just in gate fees!

I really really like the ideas behind AMRA, but come on, I feel these problems would have NEVER happened if someone gave a crap about putting on a GREAT race.

..... what happened with the timming equipment? Theres no way the Youth C's did the fastest first laps  Roll Eyes

WOW!  The fact that an OHV85 member raced is absolute nonsense.  They were super short on course workers and the ones that were out there didn't seem to give a hoot about shortcoursing.

How much of an improvement over last year was there besides the dirt being wet?

Kyron,
OHV85 is putting on two races this year so their club members are entiled to race one of their own races. Whether he should have raced or help with organization is a different issue.

The sweep rider was sweeping the race looking for bottlenecks and helping downed racers. Not every member working a race will know the details about every aspect of the race.

ACP/OHV85 is used to putting on races but there is still some areas for improvement and all criticisms will be considered as constructive.

and yes,... Logan Ohrt and Cody East are some FAST kids and they did indeed run those fast laps.

Thanks EZ.

I did not think of the fact that there were 2 rounds at ACP entitling OHV85 members to race one or the other.  I appologize for jumping the gun on that and I just sent Beverly an email to set up working the March race.
