We know that everyone is eagerly awaiting the release of the 2017-2018 series schedule and we are working hard to bring you an exciting series of races for the first ever American Motorcyclist Association Arizona State Championship!

Round 1 will kick off on Sunday, October 1st with the Sheridan Mountain Showdown at Camp Wood, just outside of Prescott, AZ.  We had hoped (and are still hopeful) to be able to kick off the mini series for the first time ever at this venue but planning has recently become more complicated due to the Hyde fire burning in the immediate area. The fire is contained and was limited mostly to brush and grass. More info can be found here https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/5359/

Round 2 of the Big Bike series and what will likely become the kick off of the Fly Racing Mini Series will be in Tucson on Sunday, October 22nd!

We have a few more things to finalize but hope to be able to release the official schedule within a couple weeks. We have some exciting things in the works so stay tuned for updates!  Thanks!

Is the mini series still starting at round 2 or has that changed?

We should have a definite answer as to whether there will be Minis at round 1 sometime next week.

Are there any definitive answers about the minis making it to round one?

Last post I saw on face book from an ATR member mentioned a "better than 50% chance"

ATR seems a bit unreliable so take it as you will... 😆

There is zero info of this race on their website.  Does anyone have any other info? Particularly about the chance of minis running at round one? It is next weekend.

First race is over a month away on October 1.  The schedule should be finalized within the week as there is a meeting this weekend.

Unfortunately there will not be a mini race at round one. The forest service is not going to be able to approve permitting in time.  We look forward to seeing all of our mini racers in Tucson on October 22nd.

Big Bikes will be riding a challenging Enduro on Sunday, October 1st.  A and B class riders should expect to have their off-season training put to the test. Wink

Flyer coming soon!
